Name the two biggest film franchises currently in production. Now name one actor who's in both. Jamie Campbell Bower (best known for his role alongside Johnny Depp in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd) is fortunate enough to be a supporting player in the second Twilight movie, New Moon, and in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2. Bower plays Caius, a member of the Volturi, in New Moon, a role he'll reprise if/when the final Twilight book, Breaking Dawn, is made into a movie. And in Harry Potter #7 and #8 Campbell Bower portrays Gellert Grindelwald, a character who makes his first appearance in the series as the Harry Potter franchise winds to a close.

"He's an old friend of Dumbledore's, a possible lover," offered Campbell Bower at the LA press day for New Moon.

Asked to compare the experience of working on Twilight with working on the Harry Potter franchise, Campbell Bower said, "The Twilight phenomenon cinematically is relatively young so there's still a lot of growth there to go with the film, and there's still a lot of connections to be made between cast and crew and stuff, whereas with Potter they've been going for 10 years now. It's a machine, Potter. You go in, you do your thing, and then you go on. Whereas with this, it's a lot more finding out about everything and a lot more exploration to do in general."

Campbell Bower's not quite done filming his scenes in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows yet. "At the moment, I've only worked on it for about a week. I think I've got another week and a bit to go," revealed Campbell Bower. "They're still working on it. They're shooting simultaneously because they've obviously got lots of time scheduled and they have to do both side by side. Whenever they can, they will do that, I think."

Nikki: The Cullens aren’t really in ‘New Moon’ as I’m sure you guys know because of the books and Chris Weitz making it very clear that we’re going to stick to the storyline. So, we’re not really in ‘New Moon’ all that much, but I did have an opportunity in the voting scene to show a different aspect of her personality, just because we were sort of setting up for ‘Eclipse’, because that’s really my opportunity to explore Rosalie as a character. So I guess, I guess in the voting scene, I worked really close with Chris to make sure that the speech that I give conveys exactly what I want it to. I don’t know if that answers your question, I’m sorry.

Someone from ONTD were at the filming of Kimmel's show.

Here's what she had to say:

* They had a Q&A for the second portion of the show and just some of the questions people asked were really stupid. Actually, most of them were pretty stupid.

*The interview was entertaining. Jimmy interviewed them first and there was a Q&A after which had it's WTF moments, but was still fun for the most part.


*Questions that were asked:
is Rob's misbuttoning on purpose or a fashion statement (their faces for this were priceless),
what was Kristen's favorite book,
someone asked for Taylor's shirt,
someone asked Kristen if she had gotten a flu shot which freaked her out because apparently she got one the day before...
Someone asked when was the last time Rob cried and why, which seemed like a stupid question but his answer made it totally worth it.

WTF? I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT!!

Variety reports that New Films has picked up worldwide rights to Deon Taylor's horror pic Chain Letter and plans to release the film in the U.S. next year.

The story centers on a serial killer who preys on teenagers. His target: Teens who fail to forward a chain letter. The cast consists of several genre vets including Nikki Reed (Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon), Betsy Russell (Saw III-VI) and Brad Dourif (Child's Play, Halloween 2).

New Films picked up the film with hopes to turn it into a franchise. Todd Slater produced Chain Letter through his Slater Brothers Entertainment shingle.
